About Me

My name is Katelyn Universe. I'm the owner and coordinator of K Universe Weddings.

I grew up in the mid-west with two siblings, both older than me. After graduating high school, I joined the United States Air Force and served on active duty for seven years. I was lucky enough to be stationed overseas for a few years and absolutely loved it. After leaving the military, I wanted to start fresh in a new place, choosing Eugene, OR after my sister recommended it. Only a few months later, I met the love of my life. Fast forward a few years, and now I own a business!

About the Business

Let me start by telling you how I got into this field...

When I married my best friend, we had a micro wedding that was absolutely perfect. I wholeheartedly believe one of the biggest reasons that was possible is due to the people who helped make it happen, one of whom was my sister-in-law. A year later, she was planning her own wedding and I wanted to give back to her the very thing she helped make possible for me: a perfect wedding day. In doing so, I found my passion.

From helping make her welcome sign and arranging various decor items, to keeping the day running on time, I was there doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes work to keep her day magical and stress-free. That day changed my life, and now I'm offering those same services to YOU!

So who am I? Hopefully, the answer is "your new event coordinator" ;)

Yes, I specialize in weddings, but don't let the name of my business fool you--I can help with almost any event you may be planning!

Baby showers? Yep. Promotions? Check! Corporate events? No problem.

Regardless of your event type, I can help you stay relaxed and actually enjoy the day you've been working so hard to create.

Maybe planning isn't your thing, though.. While I'm not a full-service planner, I do offer many partial-planning add-ons to help you curate a package that fits your budget and your needs.

I believe in creating unique moments that leave a lasting impression. As your coordinator, I'll advise you when necessary, but  I'll always have your best interest in mind. After all, it's your event and it should go the way YOU want it to. With me, you'll get exceptional service at an exceptional price.
